I was looking at jamie's card and I don't think that looks like Deacon Phillipe...anybody else agree?

Right, it isn't Phillippe, which is why SGC should've labeled the card as Phillippe/Engle. Two players, one card.

This is my first time posting images. Hope I do it correctly. A few of my favorite recent T206 pickups.

What set is that Gehrig that looks like someone used a typewriter to put the name on it?

Jimi, did you complete the 50 card set, or just get all the baseball players?

I completed the baseball set only, and I am now working on the n29 set. I was able to pick this up yesterday:

This will be a nice piece next to the completed set. It's very rough, but it was cheap and I love it!

That miscut t206 strip is interesting because I always thought that most t206 strips had the same player vertically...now I wonder whether this may have been in the middle of the sheet where there was phillipes on top and engles on bottom. Strange stuff. Nice card though.

Thanks! The Matty has some staining on the left and right sides which don't show up on the scan very well. But it does look sharp!

Finally the Cobb for my E95 set... jumped $300 on me in the last couple seconds of the auction but still happy to own one!

Also won a fez coupon from the T3 issue; the tougher of the T3 coupons...

Nice pickup on the Fez coupon Jon. If i'd have been smart enough to log the EST time in relation to the GMT time, you'd have had more competition.

Believe it or not this is a PSA2. For the life of me I cant figure out why. About the only thing I can really see is the light staining. No noticeable creases that I can see or paper loss. I bought it encapsulated by PSA but you can be sure it will get crossed to SGC.

Fantastic card Keith. It is items like this which makes Burdick's fascination with cards understandable.

Nice stuff guys!! Not sure if any of you are aware of this card. it was printed in 1926 and is part of a 50 card set titled Sports Records. It was issued in England and inserted into cigerette packs. Turf cigerettes and is known as the Alexander Boguslavsky set.

This card "baseball" America's best batter and features Sisler and his .420 average

I may be more excited about this one than any other. I've really been looking for an N48 or N508 and always just fall short. I don't even mind the stain - the photo is so clear.

OK, here is my second attempt at posting a scan. We'll see if this even works. If it's really outrageously big I'll delete it Leon - I'm just trying to get it there. I used Insert Object, so evidently it self-destructs after a week too. I will be smiling all night over this one!

Joann
