Question on centering
Posted By: effe
I spotted this card by it's description in the upcoming Teletrade auction. How did it grade a 50? According to SGC's website this should have been a 10 with this centering. Do they measure centering from the best (highest) corner? Or is it possible the card has just slid under the holder's "frame"? |

That centering is horrific. As much as some do not like PSA's system of having qualifiers -- this one truly deserves the MC qualifier.... |

The description says that it is offcenter 100/0 from top to bottom-So no the card did not slide under the holder. |

Question on centering

SGC seems to have no consistancy in regards to following the guidlines when it comes to centering. I have e93 Griffith that is center 90/10 and has better corners than this Lajoie, but it got a 40, the max a 90/10 card can get according to their guidlines. And my Griffith wwas graded before this Lajoie was, so it's not 'early' grade. |
