Default A little checklist help ??...

Posted By: Jason L

For those of you with superior knowledge, or perhaps easy access to a checklist-type reference material, could you help me out with a couple things?

you can post, or send me an email - beggars are certainly not choosers!!!

What is the Cubs team set for each of the following issues:
T3 Turkey Reds
T202 Triple Folders (and indeed, what constitutes a "team" card here? -where both single player cards on the ends are of the same team? -does it matter what the center panel is?)

Much thanks in advance!
Jason

Edited to add: Much thanks to everyone who helped me compile the Cubs team checklist for the T200 issue!!!

Here's what I came up with in T202:

Chance Beats Out a Hit
Chance - Foxen
McIntire - Archer
Overall - Archer
Rowan - Archer
Shean - Chance

Evers Makes a Safe Slide
Archer - Evers
Evers - Chance
Reulbach - Archer
Overall - Archer
Tinker - Chance

Harry Lord at Third
Lennox - Tinker

McConnell Caught
Richie - Needham

Stone About to Swing
Scheckard - Schulte

The Athletic Infield
Brown - Graham

There are at least four other cards with Chicago Rustlers players on the end panels.

Edited to add the following:

All the end-panel players on the above cards are Cubs. As best as I can tell, all the center panels except "The Athletic Infield" are also Cubs. According to my reference, "Classic Baseball Cards" (the large coffee-table book), there are no cards where only one of the end-panel players is a Cub. Regarding the "Harry Lord at Third" card, Lennox is shown wearing a Brooklyn cap, but the team named at the bottom is the "Cubs".

Edited again to correct the above comment about the "Chicago" Rustlers. I just discovered that they were the "Boston" Rustlers. I got confused by the fact that Steinfeldt and Kling are shown in Cubs uniforms on their cards, while the team name at the bottom is Rustlers.

Steve

Much thanks, Steve!

This is wonderful help...and by the looks of it, boy, do I have a ways to go on these sets!!!
I will likely stop at 1, though, for the expensive T3's...of course, I said that about T207 because I didn't think I liked them...then a board member sold me half the team set in one transaction!!! so much for planning!

The T202s look like an interesting group to go after.

Thanks again!
