Default Ebay:1952 Topps Mickey Mantle Beckett = Fake?

Just wondering what you guys thought of this Ebay listing?

Anyone ever seen Beckett grade their cards in this manner?

Does this card look authentic too you?

Do an ebay search for Beckett raw card review. Certainly it's common for people to sell them "pre graded" or whatever the term is.

I would say its highly unusual for a high profile vintage card to be sold in a raw review holder. Especially a 52 Mantle. I would be highly suspicious of this one and personally would just stay away. Or negotiate as part of the deal a guarantee Beckett or psa will authenticate it in a permanent holder.

I would not trust that card to be real. Pretty easy to replace cards in those holders.

Can't speak for it being legit but bottom right corner of front of label looks suspicious... At least the card is not "overgraded"

If I lived in Toronto or lived closer, I'd attempt to see the card in person. Curious though, being as the T.O. spring Expo is coming up, if the guy would be willing to attend with the card and have it graded/looked at by a TPG or a few well reputed members that will no doubt be there?
