Default PSA password reset issue

Somehow this is what i get:
You need to reset your password. This is most likely because an administrator recently changed your account information. Click here to reset your password.

However, the reset part never makes it to my att.net email!!!!!
So, i cannot post over there.

I read this thread:
Quote:
Per the head of our IT department...

Our forum provider has reset all passwords due to a recently introduced bug in their software (now resolved) that had the potential to leak encrypted user passwords. The details are available here:

https://status.vanillaforums.com/incidents/2zdqxf3bt7mj

According to the vendor this is a precautionary measure only.

Default Password

I haven't been on the CU forum for a couple of years, so I thought I would try it. When I tried to log in I was instructed to change my password. It worked just fine. The reset link was sent to my email, I clicked on the link, and changed the password.

I'm not sure what is going with yours.

Rick

I had the same thing happen to me. I emailed the PSA customer service and explained the situation to them. They reset my password for me and then when I logged in with their password I could change it myself to whatever I wanted. It took maybe a day or so for them to get back to me, but it worked.
