Thanks for the compliment. I’m constantly updating my site. Just found a box of about 1000 cut autos of players from 1920’s to 1960. So that my next project for the site. The 1958 Sport is one one of my favorites since I’m a huge Brooklyn dodger fan. I also have that piece authenticated by JSA.

Thanks

Jason

Anyone ever run across one of these hard cover first issues....Had Mathews sign it about 20 years ago or so....he remarked at the time he had never seen another issue like this....needless to say, with the hard cover protecting it....the issue itself is in like new condition. Don't think it would be possible to have it slabbed or graded however.
I have heard these were issued in 1964 (10 year anniversary) as a thank you to the first 500 people who subscribed but have never been able to find out for certain.

Phil Regli used to publish a sporadic newsletter called The Sports Publications Newsletter (appropriately enough). It contained rundowns and lists of various sports related magazines, variations, player addresses, etc. He also published a soft-cover price guide which was eventually taken over by Beckett. In pre-internet days, his newsletter and guide were valuable tools for me.

This brings my total up to 36. Lou Graham was a TTM Success. Leon Spinks I got via a private signing.

I very seldom, hardly ever, send signed items through the mail. This was worth it.

Thank you, Mr. Jones, for adding yourself next to Sam Cunningham's signature.

Two down, three to go. I'm done sending this by mail. The other three will have to be obtained at a show or some other venue.

Nice collection. I have always liked the old Time magazines (especially the Musial) but decided to stick with Sports Illustrated. I would be interested in one of the McDougald's.

Recent TTM returns. Not pictured is a personalized Ray Mancini SI from August 1982.
