Default Cobb Auto Check

Went unsold on eBay for lower than typical price. Authentic or not? Looks labored.

I know nothing, but I saw this check too, and did not feel good about it.

ETA: I didn't like the looks of the actual check, even. Something just felt off.

Robert Ross?

See? Cobb wasn't an angry man, he just wanted to paint happy little trees!

One possibility is that a legit check was chemically washed and then forged. The red circular stamp in the middle is awfully blurred. The ink on that stamp may have run. Also notice that the 'paid' is very bright red. I cannot comment on the signature, but the flourish is awfully shaky for someone in their 30's.

This is a total forgery as was the other garbage the guy was selling. The check was clearly an unmarked check that was forged with Cobb
