Default LOTG not a one-man operation anymore

Congratulations on your new hire. Showing the growth mindset

Love of the Game Auctions has appointed sports memorabilia industry veteran Tim Gallagher as consignment director. This latest team addition establishes a permanent west coast presence for LOTG, which is based in New York’s Hudson Valley region.

Congrats to Tim and to LOTG but I think it has been a long time since they were a one man operation. Andrew Aronstein, who is a member here, has been with LOTG and there might be others.

Thanks, Rich!

We are THRILLED to have Tim on board as a West Coast presence, and helping support our growth by working with consignors nationwide. Tim is a talented, knowledgeable guy who helps improve our knowledge in the vintage basketball and autograph arenas, and who will help improve our consignor communication. Further, he'll help us get more aggressive in seeking out high quality material for our auctions.

That being said, it's been some time since we've been a one-man operation. Andrew Aronstein has been on board for three years and is our Operations Manager, bringing unbelievable expertise in photography and the deadball era in general, as well as being a fountain of knowledge when it comes to hobby history. Andrew helps build our auctions, manage inventory and shipping, and is instrumental in consignor relations, and also gives me someone to joke around with all day.

Evelyn Marie Rose is our imaging specialist who also has been instrumental in improving our social media efforts. She's been with us for a year. She's responsible for all the outstanding photography you see in our catalogs and on our website. And then we have a talented and dedicated freelance team that includes Dan Wallach (another insanely knowledgeable deadball expert who helps us with research and copywriting), Stephanie Kowalsky (who designs our gorgeous catalogs), and of course Sandy, who manages finance and makes sure everyone gets paid on time.

It's a pleasure to be a part of such an unbelievably talented and fun group.

-Al

Not to mention his family that supports his crazy venture.
I'm biased but I only wish good things and success to one of the best guys in our hobby. Couldn't happen to a nicer group of folks.

I'm so glad to read this. Thinking you were doing everything by yourself was making me feel very inadequate!

Congrats on the new hire, and best of luck!

Yep, really enjoyed my time at LOTG, Al's a great boss!

Unfortunately my day job at the time became too demanding to do both.

Congratulations to Tim and Al and team, sounds like a great fit! Looking forward to future auctions as both a bidder and consignor.
