Default Did the back influence the final price on this one?

Chapman cards are obviously coveted. Did the back have any influence on the final price or would have this example grabbed around $200 regardless?

Shouldn't that card have a price written in pencil on the back? Or am I thinking of a different card?

The ones with writing on the back are the W575 types. (more commonly known as the E121 type but I have my ways)....

Actually with the M101 set the Herpolsheimer is one of the easier backs, atleast according to Oldcardboard.com its the fourth easiest back to obtain out of 21. (i know there list isnt correct but it round about gets them right)
