I realize that we discussed this a while back but since we are now only three weeks away I wanted to check to see who will be making it to the Mistake by the Lake. I'm hoping to be there on Wednesday (gotta see Johnny Maestro and the Brooklyn Bridge) and Thursday.

but besides all the ass-whoopins I've been threatened with, I already have two vacations scheduled this month. Hope to see some of you in Chantilly, VA the weekend of July 10th! Look for a skinny guy in a vintage baseball uni.

I swore I wouldn't go (AC was a bust last year), but broke down at the last minute (Chicago, tow years ago, was fantastic) and will fly out from LA for Friday and Saturday. I can't help it--I'm giddy!

Jay my son and I just booked our plane reservation. Now just need tickets and a hotel - should be easy. We will be there thru Saturday. Look forward to seeing many of you that I know only through this board.

is it next week? i'm still "on the fence", house is for sale (by owner, i'd rather give you guys the cash than a realator ), close on new house july 30th. if i go, it'll be drive in and drive out....from chicago. can anyone help with dates? also, since it will be a very quick trip, would you recommend any day, i.e. first day, last day?

Buy a bunch of E94s and E98s and put them for sale on ebay so you'll make a profit and I'll have a shot.
If the convention is in Chicago next year, I'm there. Hopefully the Cubs will be in town, I've always wanted to go to Wrigley...

The National is in Chicago next year, and I will be there as well. I was at Wrigley on Tuesday night to watch the Cubs comeback and beat the Astros 7-5. A nice cool night game in Chicago, there's nothing better. Hopefully the Cubbies will be in town during the National, so we can have a Board 54 night at the Park..............

I'll definetely hope to meet some of you's , Ill be at 1000 Brian Dec's table , John Billingsley's and going to find 1512 Brockelman. Tg , Mr Galloway and Bill Fisher a close cohort of Johnny Adams...I will be looking greatly to meet up with.

Brett and I will have an Old Cardboard booth (#2048) and are really looking forward to meeting and chatting with each of you. We will be signing up subscribers for our new vintage magazine (more on that later this week on another post).

We also plan be at the Network 54 dinner Thursday night. I've even heard that some of you (JC?) are Texas Hold'um players. If there are several of you that would like to shoot it out in a Texas-friendly low-stakes Texas Hold'um Tournament some evening (perhaps after the Thursday dinner) just let us know.

Jay and any others I may have talked to, I've reversed my plans and will now be there Thursday and possibly shoot back down on Saturday (from Detroit suburbs). I'll be looking to buy/trade N172 Detroits and maybe get a couple cards graded.
