Default Ted Williams signed Senators photo

I have a ton of Ted auto's and I still stumble with telling the real from the fakes.

In doing some clean-up of my collection I came upon this signed photo.

If this is fake, I think it is secreterial. I do not love the T, the "m" (or "u"??) and the ending "s" always stumps me.

Thoughts?

.....and thanks

...any other thoughts on this photo? I've read a bunch of older Ted threads and it makes my head spin looking at all the unique characteristics of his signature.

Cheers......

So, this surfaced on EBAY today-

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Ted-William...e/224136836141

It seems identical to my Ted (in hand).

Are these "auto-penned?"

I am having a more difficult time now believing mine is authentic. Any further thoughts??

Thanks in advance!

If those are two different photos, then the signature is definitely not real.

It is definitely either printed, or it's an autopen.

Definitely different photos....I think this solidifies my original suspicion that mine is not real. Thanks!

Well from the one listed on ebay . . .

Title: "Ted Williams Boston Red Sox Vintage Photograph with Simulated Signature"
(Bold emphasis mine)

Description: "Here is a Vintage Photograph of Boston Red Sox HOFer Ted Williams. The signature is a printed signature as verified by JSA."

(Bold emphasis mine)

I finally got around to digging my copy of this Senators photo. The signature appears to be felt tip and other than the loop on the W its similar to yours. I'm no expert, and although JSA, or PSA haven't rendered an opinion it appears to be a real signature to me. Nonetheless I thought you might like to see it for comparison.

Sorry I missed that MINOR detail. I was so focused on the autograph I failed to see the forest for the trees.
