Default Anyone building the Topps 2020 T206 sets?

First of all, Hi!! My first post

Question for anyone building these sets, any ideas on how many boxes it takes to make a base set. i bought two boxes to explore and after not so great collation ended up with only 11 different base cards, also two of my Piedmonts were the same as base I got. Is this the norm or did I just have rough luck? I'm in Canada and after exchange and shipping these are not cheap and I know I have a small sample but it could take me somewhere over ten boxes to make a base set and that's liable to get very expensive. The boxes i got were series 2 by the way.
Cheers
A

There are some that also collect here. Since there are 250 base cards, and you probably need 8 packs to get all 50 in a subset, you're looking at probably 40 packs total to get the complete set. Luckily, they're starting to flood COMC so you'll be able to put the rest together pretty easily without having to rely on too many cross-border packages. Looks like a lot of steam fell out of the market after the first series due to the tiny odds of hitting autos, player selection, delivery delays, and people leaving the On-Demand market after losing their shirts chasing Project 2020.

Hi and thanks for the info and the links threads. I'm not an on demand fan at all, but I wanted to check these out as they are tobacco size and i have no resistance.
Maybe just buying singles would be the way to go....I did get a Cobb back in my second box so monetarily I did way more than fine, just don't want to spend 300 CDN on each wave of 50...
Thanks again for the reply.

Which one did you get? I'll log it on the tracker on blowout. Show a picture if you can. Obviously that was a solid hit.

Thanks. I think so too. When I opened the pack I saw it and thought "aha, there's one I want, then I realized it was at the back where the different backs were in the other box, then i saw the numbers lol. I feel like i have to get the set now. Just the base sets.
