OT - Ebay loses court case to LVMH

Its not directly related but think a lot of folks here will be interested. Ebay lost a French court case dealing with counterfeit goods and from reading the article there could be a US verdict as early as Monday in a similar case.

On the heels of a $61 million loss to French luxury goods group LVMH, eBay on Monday secured a legal victory in its trademark battle with jeweler Tiffany. Judge Richard Sullivan with the Southern District Court of New York rejected the idea that eBay is responsible for policing its site for fake Tiffany items.
