Why do I have the feeling I've seen those exact 2 cards many times before? Maybe I'm dreaming!

Default Flips

Why do the flips look so different from each other?

Pardon us for being skeptical. When a brand new board member shows up and is trying to sell $100,000 worth of cards in their initial posts, lots of questions will arise.

These particular two cards ('52 and '53 Mantle) have been the subject of some big frauds and/or attempted frauds. Now I'm NOT saying these are bad, but they raise some red flags.

That is the reason for the reaction on here.

Would you mind telling us a little about the cards, how long you have had them, where they came from, etc.?

Default mantles

i purchased these cards in a package deal from a guy in phili i bought 29 cards in all i have 19 in huggins and scott upcoming auction including a 52 mantle psa 7oc 53 mantle psa 8,7,6,5, 1909-11 ty cobb psa 5 robin roberst sgc88 , a 1955 sandy koufax psa 8 i did not put 2 of the same cards up for sale i was waiting till next sale depending on what these bring. i would rather sell on my own to avoid fees from an auction. bill huggins appraised this card you are more than happy to call him the 52 mantle psa 8 is a great card he can verify that. I paid a guy jim pavlish to authenticate cards prior to purchase. so 2 parties looked and both agreed with eachother. i bought package to keep 52 and sell others. i am putting it out there to see what i can get for it. i really want a 52 psa 9 at 288k that is my next card to keep

Fred,

These two cards are familiar because they've shown up on ebay's discussion board and the other board a few times. At the very least that '52 has.
