Default Grading

I thought my M. Jordan card was a 10. 4 sharp corners. etc. The card came back a 6. I was devistated - I lost thousands. Any similar experience and what was done? P.

I am sorry but you cannot lose what you never had in the first place. I am sorry that your card was graded much lower than you expected but that is what many of us have experienced and it just is what it is.

Regards,

Butch Turner

More than likley it was a "good eye appeal for the grade" already graded a 6. Cracked out, and sold to someone hopeful to capitalize on it grading higher.

This has been a very common practice over the years before some unscrupulous people were able to get trimmed cards past psa.

Sorry this happen to you, but there really isnt any recourse

Well, yes. Anyone that has cards sitting at PSA over a year and 1/2 and
finally got grades back knows what you mean. I wouldn't be surprised if
your card wasn't graded by someone on the first day as a grader. I just
got cards back and the grades didn't command the $9.00 grading fee from
way back when. Now people can say what they want, but I have been sending
in cards since PSA began. I put them under a magnfying light, measure, etc.
and I get 4's??? Cards not graded as misscut or under sized????? The next
exact card same size graded? I don't think so.
I learned a long time ago if you don't own it, not to suggest. It's their
company and they can run it anyway they want to.
Had alot of fun with PSA and the registry, etc. but I'm done
