Default A new Rose Postcard and vintage generic baseball ones

Recently I have started collecting some old generic baseball type postcards. This is a new "Rose" postcard. Show some generic, vintage baseball postcards if you care too. I/we would love to see them....

My favorite generic postcard...it is stamped with "Gagnier SS Lincoln"....I have two of these and they are both Gagnier so I don't know if any others were made for other players on the 1908 Lincoln Team...btw Gagnier would go on to play in the Federal League.

The nuances are just great on these old PC's. Check out the guy on the far left (looking at the screen) with his white glove on. Very cool.... I will post some more after while. I especially like them when they have horse and buggy and other esoteric things in them. A neat, cheap way to collect.

Posting a few of my Lincoln cards for the Brooklyn Feds collector who PM'd Me.

Gagnier is 3rd from right on the bottom row

Not sure if Gagnier is in this one, but he was on the team in 1908..it's possible he's the player 4th from right in the back row

And here's a horse and buggy for Leon

Default my favorite

My great-grandfather's team. He's in the front row, center. I had the postcard digitally "fixed" & printed on 12 X 15 photograph paper for display. Cool bunch of postcards guys!

Hi-
Really cool postcards shown so far! Here are two of my favorites. The first is a calendar ad from 1914, and the second is the "Never Was" and the "Has Beens" team picture.

Default Town Team

Some Town Team. I don't own the PC anymore. Guy 2nd from Right top row kinda reminded me of a young Honus Wagner.

Dan & Clint- Very nice. All three teams appear to be from the same era. I'm guessing 1910-1920? Do either of you have a specific date on your RPPC? At least we know who to credit/blame, depending on your outlook, for our addictions.

Thanks Jeremy, I'd love to get one of those jackets your Great-grandfather has on. I have two postcards of Great-granddad and they were glued into a scrapbook so I don't know the exact age but I believe 1909-1910 is pretty close. I'll have to ask my father if he knows this weekend.

Jeremy, I'm not sure of a specific date, but it has to be right around 1910...There is no one left for me to ask about it.
