Default Should I soak this?

Hello everyone, I am new here and started picking up some T206's. I am up to 6 now! I picked this one up at a really good price. I have read a ton of threads on soaking and have a grasp on how to do it however I have not actually done one before. I know that soaking really helps with scrap paper, glue etc but will it clean up the stains on the below card? Also, there are some nice creases on this one and I was wondering if soaking will make the creases worse as I don't want the card to break at the crease points. I figured this would be a good first soak candidate.

Thank you all for your time and any input I may receive.

Scott

not much to lose by soaking that card...it may appear a little cleaner ultimately...soaking alone shouldn't affect the creases/wrinkles.

Yes, you can soak it. It should remove some of the dirt. I'd suggest doing at least 2 rounds of soaking for at least 24 hrs each time. Make sure you change the water 2-4 times a day. As you pour out the old water, you'll notice it's a little brown from the removed dirt/stains. Good luck and show us how the card turned out.
