Default Best books about deadball era baseball

Any suggestions on a great book to read about deadball baseball? I have read the OLd Ball Game and really liked it. Would like to read more about McGraw or Wagner or really any suggestions anyone might have.
Thanks in advance!
Eric

Check out The Old Ball Game: How John McGraw and Christy Mathewson and the New York Giants created modern baseball.

Try Crazy 08. It's about the 1908 pennant races (mostly the NL race).

I’m assuming you know about The Glory of Their Times? Amazing dead ball stories told from the players point of view.

I'll second Crazy '08 as a great read. I loved the chapter detailing the Merkle Boner game.

I enjoyed all of the ones mentioned above and also would suggest 59 in '84 & The Summer Of Beer & Whiskey, both by Edward Achorn.

I would recommend, in addition to the books already mentioned, The Celebrant, Outside Baseball, and Catcher.

Default Tremendous reading

For you T206 guys, I highly recommend...... "The Year They Called Off The World Series" ...…by Benton Stark.

This story covers the entire 1904 season. As you read it, you'll imagine the T206 guys come alive. Interesting
stories about many of the Major Leaguers in the T206 set are noted in this book.
And the BB season ends early as the result of one of the most consequential Play-off games in Baseball history.

My favorite is More than Merkle, covering the entire 1908 season

The Unforgettable Season by G.H. Fleming is a brilliant recreation of the 1908 pennant race. You can’t miss it.
