Default Yankee Clipper Enterprises??

Hello
I’ve noticed on eBay there some joe DiMaggio signed items with the yankee clipper enterprises authentication sticker on them along with a notarized loa with the item. The seller says it’s from the estate of joe DiMaggio. Are these yankee clipper authenticated stickered items legit? Thanks

You need to go on a item by item basis.

agreed. Check out the crook Morris Engleberg, Ralph Perullo and B & J Collectibles. Nice trio of losers. Here's a couple articles on the subject

https://www.nydailynews.com/archives...ticle-1.824484

https://archive.seattletimes.com/arc...0&slug=2967634

Morris had many many items forged on behalf of Joe Dimaggio as the story goes with that stupid clipper enterprises sticker scam and fake notaries. Facts the criminal attorney left out of his book.

Thanks guys for your help. I appreciate it. The item in particular I’m looking at is a 1995 signature rookies signed card on eBay. It has the Yankee Clipper enterprises sticker on the back of the card and comes with a notarized letter saying its authentic. But what’s strange is the back of the card has a green substance on it that the seller says was on the card when he purchased it from DiMaggio’s estate. My gut feeling is it is not authentic but I do g know much about DiMaggio’s autographs so would live your opinions. Based on this would you guys pass on it? The green substance on the back of the card seems strange too.

Would love to get some more opinions soon as I’m watching this item on eBay and not sure how long it will be available. Anyone else have thoughts on this?

Thank you both for your thoughts on this.

Like most of this board, I am not a big fan of TPAs like PSA. I value and respect the opinions of members here waaaaay more than I do the opinion of companies like PSA, JSA, SGC...etc

Does anyone know what the green Substance on the card is? Is that normal for these cards?

Thanks

I think it's a "Green Diamond".

Thank you all for your help with the authenticity of this. I’m still learning about this hobby so may I ask what is a green diamond? I’ve never heard of that before. Thanks

Apologies, it was a joke around “What is that green substance...” question.

Not all my jokes are a hit.
