Question Jordan autograph - fake?

Guys, I’m sure here’s a lot of people with lot more knowledge on this topic than myself and I wondered if anyone might be able to assist. was offered to buy this Jordan’s autographed baseball with COA(photos attached), but once I googled the name of a company that sold it back in 90s I’ve found a lot of bad stuff on them(and Jaffe Shelly specifically - main guy there). Would you be able to advise me on whether this item is authentic or might be a fake that I should stay away from? I’m not buying to re-sell - buying for myself and of course very concerned about it. Any feedback is highly appreciated!

I have seen very few signed baseball not issued by UDA. I wouldn't buy any of them without the UDA sticker.

It's fake for a couple reasons,
first, as the previous poster said, MJ had an exclusive with UDA in the 90s. Nobody else would have had the opportunity to get Jordan to do a signing.
Second, the Jordan is all wrong. it's bunched together, and the M has too many loops in Michael. But the first reason is more compelling.

Spend the extra dough and get an UDA piece.

It is definitely possible to find a Jordan ball outside of UDA, but very few come up. They're almost always on a non-official or non-major league baseball too. I would be even more wary of any on an MLB ball without a UDA sticker.

You can find a lot of Jordan baseballs that are not from uda. He signed 8 of them for me at the Bellagio Hotel. He would give them to the casino host instead of cash. He had his camp and at golf tournaments.

I will respectfully disagree. I had access to Jordan for years through my uncle who did some bodyguard work for him. I have a couple signed baseballs (among the 20+ items he graciously signed over the years)...

I did not mean he wouldn't sign at all, sorry. I mean I dont think any other organization would get a COA from someone other than UDA.

That's a very cool story.

Guys, thanks a lot to everyone for an opinion - it is highly appreciated. Looks like this item is not real...so I better pass.
