Default RPPC Saint Paul Saints

I know it’s a major stretch but picked up this RPPC of a team with the letters SP on it. I found it in an antique mall in Wisconsin and was wondering if it could be the St. Paul Saints. I liked it because it’s an early integrated baseball team and looks like a pro or semi pro team plus it was cheap. Any thoughts to time period and possible players or team ID.

Sorry, not the Saints. Is there a cancellation date on the back?

Chris,
Your ears must have been burning. That didn’t take you long to respond.

Thanks guys. I thought that was the case. No cancellation date on back. It’s postally unused and pulled from a scrapbook. I’m guessing from the 20’s based on similar postcards from the period that I have. I was intrigued by it being an integrated team from this period.

SP stands for "State Prison"

There are quite a few of these integrated postcards that pop up from time to time, not 100% positive but I believe this to be a prison team photo.

Here are some of the prison types.. The bottom one is a stray in the sequence, not prison related.
