Default Looking for some dating/verification on this 1800s(?) Town Ball Bat

Think I stumbled onto a town ball bat from my research with other groups and wanted to see if there is a good way to date/value this. Want to make sure before I sell it as that it isn't a newer children's bat or something like that. It still has some very light paint stripes on the barrel it as well that are a white/Blue. It is a hard wood(guessing maple) but I am unsure. Round all the way around and not flat on sides. Has a spindle mark on the bottom and mushroom type knob. It is roughly 31-32 inches, very thin all the way through, and 32 just under 25 ounces. Thanks for any guidance you can provide.
