Default Anybody looking for a $5,000 Matty Cracker Jack reprint?

Even on eBay, it seems pretty remote that someone will overlook the "1993" markings on the reverse. I get it that the point is to fleece someone, but how can the seller actually list the card as "unknown" as to whether or not the card is original or a reprint when the year "1993" is so obvious on the card?

I sent the seller the correct info so he can update his listing, which I'm sure will happen.

I have a serious question to ask. The printing looks (to my inexperienced eyes) like the half-tone process used for '52-'56 Topps.

Was this process employed by printers in 1993?

The link no longer works and it says that the listing was ended by the seller due to an error in the listing. Props to the seller for doing the right thing, but how could the seller legitimately not know it was a reprint when the year 1993 was so obvious on the back?

Doesn't matter, I guess. At least the listing is no longer on eBay.

Darn, I was thinking about bidding. I have penchant for spending too much so was thinking of going for the most expensive reprint ever.
