Default Worst Mantle Forgery Ever?

This has to be one of the worst Mantle forgeries I have ever seen and it actually has one bid on it.

Hey, with this, how can you go wrong?

why the 75 is on the baseball. I'm sure all collectors will know why. These balls only go up in value so bid confidently.

What a piece of garbage. I could do a better job than that, and as you've said sir, the problem is the buyers too, who have NO business bidding, if they don't even have a clue, and thats not even close.

.
Because it was signed when Mickey was 75?

Maybe Mick had just finished his 75th scotch, bourbon or whatever he preferred.
And to think this thing has a bid from someone with 1000+ feedback.
Old PT Barnum was sooooooo right.

That's obviously for his HOF Induction year . . .

and that's not as far off as the signature.

I emailed the seller about the ball. Below is his response:

"I bought this at an estate sale with a box of other things.
It was like finding a Babe Ruth ball laying in an empty ball field. I
am very sure in my own mind but I can't prove it so that's where it
stands. Blow it up and compare it to other signatures. Other than that I
have never had it authenticated. I would never sell anything fraudulent on purpose. One person wrote me and said it's a fake but I don't believe him. He acted like a trouble maker. So please don't bid if you don't feel confident. I have a 100% record and I don't want it flawed.
Thanks"

We don't need to blow it up. Its an OBVIOUS fake. He should take it down, or his record will be blemished.

Geez...Mick couldn't sign that bad even if he was passed out in the bar.
