Very sad indeed. I, too, grew up watching Mach Man. There is related article at the botom of the Fox article that list 23 wrestlers and how most of them died pretty young...and most from heart problems.

He was one of my favorites when I was a kid.Loved when he came off the top rope.

He also played some minor league ball in the 70's. It makes me wonder if there are any minor league cards of him floating around out there?

He has no cards that I know of and I looked many years ago when I first heard he had played minor league ball...I'll bet there are programs and team photos out there that he is pictured in though.

I just checked ebay and it looks like someone out there grabbed a 1973 Orangeburg Cardinals program from the year that Macho played there.
