Default At what point do qualifiers affect a grade?

Posted By: Ed McCollum

As I continue my search for cards, there are just a couple guidelines I know I can follow as I search almost every listing on eBay. No t206 with a rubber stamping on the back is going to get better than a 20 from SGC. Almost anything goes from PSA, but it will have the MK qualifier. But some of the other grading companies, I haven't figured out at what point do things like pencil markings, rubber stampings, off-center, etc. affect a grade? If I'm looking for stuff with a rubber stamping, what grades would Beckett assign to such a card, but none higher? Just using Beckett as an example, it could be anyone. Any info is greatly appreciated. Ed

Ed each company has different standards, I suggest maybe go to each of them (website)
and read up on what the standards are.

I think you are talking about net grading, that is a card can be a mint looking card but because
of a specific flaw it gets downgraded.
