Statistical Oddity:
This afternoon, in the sixth inning, the Braves' shortstop Dansby Swanson hit his 10th home run of the year ; Second Baseman Ozzie Albies hit his 16th double of the season in the seventh inning.
In doing so, each reached 500 career hits. This may well be the first time a keystone duo who have played for only the one team have reached such a milestone in the same game. Pretty Cool! .
