If you find any cards over there across The Pond, while you are perusing their stocks, could you give me a holler if you see any Australian cards or Aussie-related baseball memorabilia?!! |

One time when in London I went to Murray's. London is very big. Great transportation systems. Still, it took a while to get there. I was very disappointed. I did buy a cigarette card book. I'd not bother to go back. I've had more success buying cigarette cards at flea markets, fairs, and antique malls. |

I live about an hour and a half away (right next to Stonehenge), so I get to London pretty often. I always find myself on Charing Cross Road, just up from Trafalgar Square. There is a great little side street with book sellers and a cigarette card shop (the name escapes me, but you'll find it). There's never been any baseball stuff in the card shop, but it's fun to poke around in anyway. All of the cig card dealers know baseball is big coin, so don't expect to find a hidden T206 stash anywhere. Just enjoy yourself and don't forget to order a chicken jalfrezi at a decent Indian restaraunt! |

Geno --I think it is Cecil Court which runs East just before Trafalgar Square. It is my favorite spot in London with the old bookstores and there is a shop there with lots of old tobacco cards --I picked up a nice collection of tennis cards the last time I was there. |

If you are out in the countryside, ask the folks when market day is... most towns have market day one day a week. You'll maybe find some cards there, it is a big farmers market flea market yard sale all in one. I've bought cards several times at these. I've bought old coins, books, and old vellum deeds and indentures, too. |

I was always a big fan of their reggae stuff on Black Market Clash. Joe Strummer's later work (Joe Strummer and Mescaleros) is outstanding. |

The Clash is my all-time favorite band. My two year old boys ask me every night to put on the Clash. Their favorite song, incredibly, is "This is England" off of Cut the Crap the first Clash (and only) Clash album after Mick Jones's departure. |

The Clash were my favorite band 20 years ago, today and probably still will be 20 years from now. Pressure Drop (Blackmarket Clash) is the chosen living room dance song for the kids (7 and 4) in our house. To keep on topic, last time I was in London (many years ago), I made my wife go to with me to eat at Lee Ho Fooks. |
