Default Bishops E100's

Posted By: leon

It's no secret I picked up a few Type 2 E100's recently. First of all if you have some type 1's or type 2's feel free to show them..(please watch scan size a little bit).....I am curious to know, as was pointed out in the other thread, if all of the type 1's and type 2's have different letting on the front? The E100's came in 2 different colors, green or orange and players can be found in either. Rapps' orange type 2 looks identical in that respect. Does the type 1 of Rapps have the name and team letting similar to this, at the bottom of the front, or is it different as the Frisco/San Francisco ones are?

My type 1 Rapps has dark black lettering. It does not have a comma after 1b. and no period after Portland. Someday I'll get the post a scan thing down.

On the May pick-up thread Steve M. posted a type 1 Weaver and Leon posted a type 2.

There is a clear cropping difference, as you can see the end of Weaver's bat in the type 1, but not on the type 2.

Wish I had a Type 2 to contribute to this thread. Here's the one nice one that I do have - a seldom seen horizontal. I can contribute that and a free "bump" to the thread I suppose!

Thanks for posting that card Brian. As a big fan of horizontals, I really appreciate it.
