Default My Top Songs of All Time 1051-1075

My latest group in the Top 1230 Songs of All Time includes the only entries from Paul Hardcastle, Smith, Musical Youth and the Gentrys with one of the 12 songs from Chicago, the Rollling Stones and the Beatles.

There's something wrong with a "greatest songs" list that has Cheech & Chong ahead of Johnny Cash.

Strawberry Fields Forever and Like a Rolling Stone are two of the greatest songs ever. When I vote in the yearly countdown for Q1043 they both make my top ten. I would move those up (I know, everybody's list is different).

Dan,

I like Johnny Cash but have just two of his songs on my countdown(the oother being Folsom Prison Blues). Basketball Jones by Cheech & Chong unlike anything else they have done and actually a catchy tune if you are a hoopster.

Barry,

I agree--both are good. At midyear when edition 6 comes out I will reevaluate.
