OT: eBay vs Steiners on 60 Minutes Tonight

Remember that eBay scandal where execs from the company harassed Ina and David Steiner, editors of a newsletter that told the unvarnished truth about the company? eBay did some truly horrible stuff to this courageous couple. Well, the couple will be interviewed on 60 Minutes tonight. I will be watching and I thought forum members might like to hear what they have to say about their experiences directly. It's a heads-up here. Peace.
P.S. I was an editor of a trade pub myself and took my share of grief about what I reported so I have been following this case closely.

What I don't understand is how corporations involved in/behind such incidents are also not criminally charged. I am fully aware that a corporation/company itself is considered separate from the individuals involved, but when they have specific evidence of comments that include veiled threats and orders to take on and "take down" individuals, that were given by a corporation's CEO, the party that effectively runs the company, or other senior management, and involves multiple employees from different departments/divisions, working in unison to achieve/accomplish goals/tasks put forth by the superiors they work for, how can it not be realized as a concerted, organized effort on behalf of and for the ultimate benefit of the corporation/company? The level, involvement and complexity of what happened to the Steiners almost screams to me that a RICO charge would not be an inappropriate response to what was done.

Possibly the problem is that when such legitimate corporations/companies get so big, and involve major parts of our domestic commerce/economy and the employment of so many, the powers that be may simply turn a blind eye to the organizations behind such wrongdoing, so as not to potentially disrupt the economy and employment/business/livelihood of tens of thousands, or more. people. Can understand the logic and thinking behind that, but still doesn't make it or mean it is right.
