Default Opinion on T206 Card

Posted By: Tom Botticelli

This post is not an advertisement for sale, just wanted to know everyone's opinion on a T206 Brown card. The bottom edge definitely has some wear, but there is no chipping. There is space for Brown's name to appear but does not, along with the top. The back is an El Principe De Gales. Any thoughts? Others out there with this back?

Thanks,

Tom Botticelli

Default Opinion on T206 Card

Posted By: robert a

Hi Tom!

There's other brown portraits out there with the epdg back, but they're uncommon compared to piedmont, sovereign, sweet cap, old mill. Further, there have been 206s found without the name at all, but they're rare.

What does the card measure? You would normally expect to see at least half of the name at the bottom from the look of it, huh?

Unless the card is short which it doesn't appear to be from first glance, I would say that it is a very collectible card.

Cheers and nice card.

Robert
