Chin Music
I had to laugh when I ran across this card on ebay...
s-l1600.jpg ...because it reminded me of what I consider one of the most ridiculous cards ever, the 1972 Ron Swoboda, where the picture was seemingly taken from the top button of his Mets uniform to obscure his move to the Bronx... s-l1600-2.jpg I wonder if the Topps staff had visited Easter Island in 1971, drawing inspiration from their photos of the moai? th.jpg The company M.O. at the time must have been..."Okay, if we don't have a picture of the player on his current team, find one where the camera was put against his chest, pointed straight up, and a photo was snapped of his chin, so no one will bother noticing he's wearing the 'wrong' jersey and cap."
