Default Braves signed ball--Aaron, et. al. value?

Posted By: Mike Ernst

A parishioner walked into my office yesterday with a signed ball, wondering about its value. Can you help me help him?

The ball is a Spalding, official NL, with Warren Giles "signature". It is signed in blue ink by Hank Aaron, Ernie Johnson, Wes Covington, Frank Torre, Del Rice, Del Crandall, and Bob Buhl.

Signatures are all clear and in good shape--ball may have been game used, but is about an 8.5.

Thanks for your help!

Forgot to add--Aaaron did not sign on the sweet spot (there is nothing on the sweet spot)--that implies to me that it was earlier in his career.
(This had to be in the 56-59 era, based on when the signatories were with the Braves.)

Maybe $150 would be my guess.
