Default Sorry to Julie and others...

I hate it when I get a card on EBay and outbid others here on the board because we are all on the "same team"...

but the seller said that Mickey was actually SMILING at ME ... so I couldn't resist.

I will now hibernate again for a few months while you REAL collectors scoop up all the good stuff.

I only come out of my cave once every blue moon to OVERPAY for something.

Hal: You have to apologize to both Julie and me: I was the underbidder. But, Mickey will look just fine on your webpage!

Hal--This is not like you. You bought that card at a reasonable price. It's a great card with a vey unusual presentation--enjoy it!

and anyone who really wanted it should have bid a lot more than I did (I was worried about a money problem)--whoever heard of getting a medium rare OJ HOF SGC 6 card for less than $1500?

Once I saw Elliot as the first bidder, I was holding my breath that he wasn't going to sneak in at the end and be the last!!

I guess he was just bidding first to kind of break the ice.

MORE IMPORTANTLY ... anyone have any interest in my "old" Smiling Mickey card (PSA 2)???

Go to: http://www.lewisbaseballcards.com/

and clink on the "W's" to see the card of which I speaketh.

Rich Jacobs is alive? Long time, no talk!

Look at my offer below and let me know if you want my old Smiling Mickey.

I think I paid Jay Miller something like $5,000 for it!! (just kidding, Jay)
