Default Just one more way to lose a card on ebay

Posted By: TBob

I thought I had lost cards every way imaginable but today was a doosie! Since all my assistants are off somewhere else trapsing around the U.S., I had to handle court this morning and couldn't be on line to snipe THE card I needed, that T207 Rassmussen. I put in a big cushion, close to $300 extra, and went to court. Came ought and realized that a guy who ONLY collects Jewish ballplayers sniped me. Damn! I didn't even know Arthur Rassmussen was Jewish. Otherwise I get the card at a steal for around $140 instead of losing and having my heartbroken at $430 since no one else bid. Oh well, I guess we live and learn but this was a devastating lesson.
Sorry for the vent.

Sometimes they can be accomodating for a quick turn-around of $50 - $100 if you explain your situation. Best of luck!

Tom- where the heck did this old post come from? I found a Rassmussen a couple of months later.

Tom probably did the same thing I have done in the past.

I will hit some link to this website ... but it will bring up the page of posts from 16 months ago or so.

Since I don't come around too much, I had no idea the posts weren't "fresh" ... so I go and respond.

Turns out I am responding to a post from the distant past!!

Heck, it happened to me a week ago with the M101-4 vs. M101-5 post...

Either that or I am just plain stupid.
