a big THANK YOU to REA Auctions

Much to my surprise and pleasure i received the very large Ramly advertising piece from Rob Lifson/Robert Edwards Auctions today. I was aware it was being packaged and shipped by Craters and Freighters, WOW! this very fragile and large piece came in a custom made plywood box on a pallet by freight truck. Now i know how Monet's and other fine pieces of art must be shipped. To say the least it was in immaculate condition, not a ding, scrape, or cracked glass, hell not even a finger print! |

I'd like my to add my thanks to Rob for the great work did in helping me sell my e90-3 Hofnlan card. I had placed the card on eBay with a BIN under $1000 with no takers and the final price was almost 3 times that amount. Rob did a great job thru the whole thing and made me feel like my card was the only one in auction. |

I don't know if you know I chose REA because I got an item from his last auction before he could have gotten my check, and when I asked "Do you always send out goods before you get monery?" he said, "Rumor has it that you very seldom stiff auction houses." |

Rob's aces in my book, too, not least for selling Jay's goofy e90-3, hereafter known as The REA Miracle or "The Watchung Surprise". That's an "m", Jay, and you can't convince us otherwise! |

I won an unusual lot in the recent REA auction and I contacted REA via email to ask a few questions before and after the auction. Rob answered every question very thoroughly and quickly. After the auction, he even volunteered to put me in touch with the consignor. I had a great phone conversation with the consignor...all thanks to Rob. |

I would like to give props to Mastronet as well along these lines. I had some trouble wiring money to them. I went the wire route to get my won lot as quickly as possible. There were problems, so ultimately I sent a check and asked if they could send my item quickly. The item arrived in two days, clearly faster than the 10 day waiting period normally required for checks to clear. This was much appreciated. A little touch like this can go a long way. |
