I do not think the 1892 Lake Forest College football team won too many games. They do not look very mean at all, Red Grange would eat them up by himself - Great photos |

Otis Whipple played Tackle and End for the Huskers in 1893 and 1894...he apparently was a great player, but didn't really see football as all that big of a deal as he was quoted as saying "Whether or not a man plays football in college is mere incident in his life." |
