MLB may field robot umpires in or before 2024...

Also, Angel Hernandez applies for grading job at PSA...

Sadly, only one of those headlines is fake

I just went and read a bit about this. Umpires will still be behind the plate relaying the call from the machine as well as to be there for check swings, plays at the plate, etc.

I wonder how often there will be issues with the machines not working properly.

They tested it in the independent league last year and outside of a few blips it got good reviews and better results when reviewed after vs the Umps.

As for Angel Hernandez I thought he would be a Judge On "Americas Got Talent"
