Picked this up in the latest greatest LOTG Auction. I traded mine last year and I am happy to have an example back in my collection for a very fair price too IMO

First I must say a huge thanks to Brian McQueen, who held this for me for a lot longer than most people would, just so I could get a tough card for my Dots Miller collection. I didn't know this Orange Borders card even existed until I saw his listing and I was told that there aren't any graded, so it was probably a one shot deal to acquire this card and Brian went above and beyond to help me get it

Thanks Dan, awesome Wagner! A little out of my league for now but I'm looking to add a cheaper Wagner soon.

Thanks Jesse. It's out of my league also to be honest...I had to sell some great cards to make it happen. Luckily they are all replaceable and that's what it came down to.

Congrats Jesse! I've been collecting so long I forget how special and fun it really is when you acquire a 100 year card of one of the greatest baseballers ever. Especially the first one. Congrats again. -peter

Thanks, I have a few cards from this era but this was my first big name HOFer. I was pretty excited to get it. I think it's amazing that someone pulled it out of a pack of cigarettes over 100 years ago and it's still survived this long.

These two arrived today, made a cold snowy day warmer. Sorry they're a bit blurry, I haven't figured out how to get clear scans of SGC slabbed cards with my scanner.

Default Fatima T222 Catcher Pose Subset completed

Finally finished a small subset project. Thanks to Andy N. for this Jack Lapp T222 Fatima card.

I now have the 4 "catching pose" cards in the set: Archer, Lapp, McLean, and Schang. All 4 present well!

Patrick, what about John Henry, the Washington Senators catcher? I believe he is one of the toughest T222 short prints to obtain. Here's the link to the OC web site where you can see a pic of this card: http://www.oldcardboard.com/t/t222/t222gal.asp

I'm thrilled to help a fellow Net 54'er along with his collection and am happy to see the card go to a good home. A pleasure working with you and hope you enjoy it!!

A postcard of Harley "Pete" Wood (Smoky Joe's brother) at the University of Kansas. Pete's actual postcard that he sent to his cousins back home in Ness City, KS in 1909.

I spend most of my time in the post war side, except when it comes to Tigers.

I've been wanting a Hooks Dauss card for a long time.

You scooped me on the Hindu! I was just about to snipe it, and got distracted and missed the time. Congrats!
