Default Pretty Sneaky

Put "PWCC" in your auction title to attract more bidders/lookers.

That scan is not worthy.

Shouldn't the real Mr. PWCC be told about this?

While it's kind of a shady thing to do, I'm not sure if anything could be done about it...unless it violates eBay's keyword spamming rule.

I asked the seller why they put PWCC in their title and also told them I think it is wrong for them to use this name. I am waiting on a response.

But does it do any good?
If I'm searching the seller PWCC, all their lots will come up and not this guy.
So not sure if he gets anymore hits because of this.

it most certianly does come up. search "t206 pwcc".

i find that if he posts cards, its mainly in large groups. i could see how someone would want to get an alert that matches that criteria.

I should have done this. All this time I've been putting "Joey Farino".

Nothing in the rules against it and it most certainly does not come up in a seller search.

Of course for a heavy hitter like PWCC, I'm sure a new rule will be implemented.

Unless I am blind ( and I might be ) I am not seeing it in the original auction now. Did he remove it?

Yes, he removed it. It was in the Title and if you click on ALL REVISIONS, you can see that he edited the title last night.

He removed it after I asked about it. I do not think he knew what PWCC was.

Default ebay headers

Full Count used to put "Strong! Vintage!" in their ebay auction titles. I listed a few cards back then and put "Strong! Vintage!" in the title.

So he put PWCC in the title and didn't even know what it meant? Makes sense to me.

Default Ebay Seller

He may have thought PWCC was a generic tag for Pre War Card Collecting. When I came back from a break from the hobby, I had no idea who or what PWCC was when I saw it in ebay auctions.

Leon he does not normally sell cards. I thought maybe he came across this Cobb and found probably the most high end example he could find namely PWCC and copied it. Just trying to give the guy the benefit of the doubt. He did accuse me of being part of some group that is trying to control the price of cards, but I did not take that seriously other than the fact that he did not enjoy being called out.
