Default Is this 1953 Topps card sun bleached or missing a color pass?

Just curious.....at first glance I thought it might have been faded by sunlight but then was wondering if maybe a color pass was missing? The area around his name should be Red but as can see, it is not red.

Opinions please.

Thanks!

Mike

It does look like the kind of washed out effect you would get with sun exposure, but since other parts of the card, such as the player's face, have a strong yellowish tone, who knows - maybe something off with the camera settings? If you can't ask about the color problem, would a scan be out of the question?
