Are you certain about that being a 1920 article?

$1.50 for a gallon of ice cream... That sounds like 1950s prices to me.

I'm now a believer.


The 1920 prices still surprise me. A dime wasn't a fortune when I was a kid, but it was a fair amount. But in 1920, I'd think 10 cents was a bunch of money.
