You got me Jay? Maybe not a 10 but definitely a 9. Don’t really care....the aesthetics are magnificent, and that’s all that really counts.

Default Some new ones

I was lucky to pick up these three cards from a fellow board member. These will fit nicely into my Louisiana type set and the 2 T216's are the last 2 types that I needed from the 6 People's Tobacco cards. Thanks Ed!

Yes, I think they are more scarce than the VE. The T214 Oldring isn't listed in the Standard Catalog and I believe it may be the only one around, although you never know for sure.

Thanks, Rick

Default 1913 Derby Cigar Murphy

After hitting a dead end on my Murphy "master set," I was finally able to pick up a pretty scarce piece I couldn have only wished for. Was able to win this though Huggins this month. Could not be happier. A type example that many collection do not have. I couldn't have been any luckier to add one of the specific subject I collect.

Hi Ron,

I felt the same way when I was able to pick up my T215 Red Cross of Purtell with the Jersey City team. I never thought I would have the opportunity to get that card and I lucked into it one day. Congrats on adding this Derby to your collection.

Andy

Great card. One of my top 3 favorite iconic cards.

And another card which probably hasn't been trimmed. (on its way to me)

Great pickup, and obviously the perfect person to have landed this extreme rarity. Thanks for showing it...never have seen the Murphy from this set.

Nice Ruth Jay!
That isn’t a previously uncatalogued T206, is it? Not your usual collecting style...
