Default Cool Carl Hubbell accidental find

I was going through some of my older Des Moines programs. Looking through my 1925 program, I saw the name Hubbell. I thought no way, couldn't be him. Checking baseballreference.com I see that indeed, it is Carl Hubbell. How cool, I had to share. In my Western League, Des Moines Demons program is a great HOFer in his 2nd season in professional baseball. Looking forward to looking through a few more early DM programs.

Great find! Old scorecards are full of buried treasures. I just picked up a late 30s Tigers scorecard because I liked the graphics, and it included not one, but two, Connie Mack autographs that the seller didn't notice. Besides finding rare autographs for a song, scorecards are great for finding pre-rookies like Hubbell, or former negro leaguers playing in the minors.
