1930 Athletics team ball (partially traced)
Recently acquired fresh to hobby team ball of what I believe to be the 1930 Philadelphia Athletics. There is a beautiful Jimmie Foxx on the sweet spot with additional signatures including Dib Williams, Wally Schang, Pinky Higgins, Jimmie Dykes, Jim Keesey, Lefty Grove, Mule Haas, Rube Walberg, Joe Boley, Eddie Rommel, Connie Mack (I believe to be clubhouse), Bing Miller, Bill Shores, Jack Quinn, and Al Simmons. There is one signature I cannot make out just above Bill Shores. The ball is a Ban Johnson, so I would presume this must've been signed a couple years after the ball was obtained. It looks like there may have been some non-malicious tracing to a couple of signatures on the ball (Pinky Higgins, Eddie Rommel, and the Al in Al Simmons). Asking $795 delivered.

Good call Ed, it does look like Peterson. I show he wasn't on the A's ball club until the 31 and 33 season...so either this was signed during spring training, or perhaps its a 31 ball. Thanks for chiming in! And thanks for the kind words Dave!
