Default 1941 Street & Smith's interior photos

Thank you. Most of the inside photos are small, with several per page, but there are a few nice pics, like the one of Jimmy Foxx attached here. The Williams and DiMaggio pics are small ones, unfortunately. The paper is semi-glossy, though, which is a pleasant surprise.

If I remember correctly, the PM1 Ruth does not have his name at bottom. Don't all other PM1s have the name printed at bottom?

Default Baseball Figural

Just picked up this real neat 1940's era metal baseball figural. Thanks to Brock for posting this previously or I would have never known that it was the figural portion off of a tie rack. I probably overpaid because it is missing the tie rack portion, but thought it would look real cool in my display room.

Default Milk glass baseball figural

I'm very pleased to have acquired this figural recently. Another example recently sold as part of the Mastro collection.

What a bat! Nice find Sean.

At the antique show a few weeks back I found an ornate pin with a religious subject still attached to the cardboard backer..I suspect the company was around for more than a few years so it's quite possible the Ruth was made well after the other PM1 pins.
Boy Dan... that's a beautiful pin. A little steam to the ribbon is all it needs.

Well done Mike. You talk about Brock finding all the good stuff (and he certainly gets more than his share) but you've got quite a knack yourself!

I finally landed a piece that fits my main focus. 1938 moving image of Gehrig wondering what the hell is wrong with his swing.

BENNY HILL!!!!!!!!!!!!

I loved the old guy in the show, that he kept hitting on top of the head.
Favorite line from a show, Hot girl asks Benny , who was playing a kid.

Girl: Baby Boy, open the door
Benny: I can't open the door, Im in my pajamas
Girl: Why can't you open the door in your pajamas?
Benny: Cause I ain't got no door in my Pajamas..haha.

Another favorite character of his was Fred Scuttle.

Hilarious stuff, and great pickup sir.

I don't think I added one piece to my Kansas collection last year but have already made up for it this year. Picked up a Zeenut of Hugh Mcmullen from Lacygne, Ks, a Holyrood,Ks rppc, a rppc from 1942 Ft. Riley, Ks, a 1914 Wichita Witches rppc of Buck Jones and an envelope of the Wichita Braves plus contract. Plus I still have a couple more items coming in.

Hey Clint. That military/baseball photo is terrific. As real of moment as it gets for the GI's.

I just picked up this nice 1935 Babe Ruth Quaker Oats premium patch. That puts my vintage patch collection at eleven... and counting. NOTE: The Quaker Oats Box Top Coupon is ONLY posted as a reference. Wish it was mine!

Thanks Jimmy, I liked it too.

Here's a couple more pickups I just got in the mail. 1908 Walter Boles Topeka, Ks rppc I got thanks to Ed Morse. I also got this huge 1917 Giants postcard. I've been looking for a Thorpe photo or card for awhile but they've all been too expensive. Thorpe attended Haskell Institute in Lawrence, Ks before moving on to fame at Carlisle. It also has Joe Wilhoit, fellow Kansan, as a bonus. I picked this up thanks to Matt Wieder.
