Default Strong bids on some nice E270 Tin Tops

I was trying to win one or three for type, and also thought that the lack of ACC reference in the auction title just might lead some collectors to miss these. WRONG.

This Daubert went for the most--$480.00

I was underbidder on two and in the mix on some others, but don't even get a nice consolation prize. Please someone come on here and show off.

Todd - You are not Wrong! I missed these due to the absence of the ACC designation. I need a Tin Topps for my type collection, and I would have bid more than some of these sold for in an effort to obtain one. Obviously, I need to create another saved search for "Tin Topps" to augment my "E270" saved search!!
Best,
Val

Hey Val
I will bet there are lots of people who missed those as they were not described as well as they could have been. It's not like they completely got overlooked but no doubt the prices would have been a bit higher had they had E270 in their titles.

Val & Todd, I am right there with ya ! This one blew by me and I would have been in the hunt for that Chattanooga Tin Type and the Daubert as well. The Whitey Alperman - Atlanta is a new one on me. I even wonder if it is known !? Need to check on that one...
