Default 1953 Topps Willie Mays in less than Fair condition... value?

I don't do so well on assessing value on cards when they are this poor. But I want this card, if the price is right.

PSA 2's go for $350
But this specimen is probably a 1, or even maybe just authentic.

Can anyone shed some light on the grade and or value of it?

Thanks!

I agree with your assessment of the grade - probably a 1 or 1.5.

I'm thinking in the $125 to $150 range.

I agree with David. If I was selling it I would ask $150 and take a little less.
Great card in any condition.

If I knew where I could purchase a Rembrandt with severely rounded corners, off-center and with lots of surface wear and scuffing, I wouldn't worry about how other people judged it or what they thought it was worth. Anything below two c-notes is my range.
