Default Album question

OK guys, really important question here. I've slowly started both '52 Topps and '54 Bowman sets (VG) that I'd like to put in albums with the 8 pocket pages. I've done this before with a '56 set, and with them being horizontal cards, they go in and display nicely starting at the top left of the page (#1) and finishing at the bottom right (#8). However with the '52 Topps and '54 Bowman, they are vertical cards going into horizontal pages. So, what's a man to do?

Below is a picture of three different ways to insert the cards into the pages. Which door is it? A, B, or C?

With all the heavy things going on in the world today, I thought I'd toss out an easy one. Thanks for your input. And if you have any relevant photos, please post.

I'd go with B.
I think most people would turn the album sideways, and view it that way. With B the numbers are a normal left to right.

I don't remember how I had them when I had an album. I only had one nice 52 at the time, so It may not have been a big deal.
Or maybe there were upright pages for the 52-56 cards? I don't recall.

B

I'm in the embryonic stage of collecting that '54B set and that's how they are going into my pages. Any other way would bug me.

B is formatted like a common English language book, even if you have to rotate the binder. This is something we are all used to seeing. Much the same way 9 pocket pages will always be 1-3, 4-6, 7-9 in the three horizontal rows. Any other way just looks weird to most people.

After re-reading your post, I can see horizontal cards looking better in the A format, still reading like a book. Vertical cards would look better with the B format.

C is just weird all around. Who does that?

All my Topps and Bowman sets that use the 8 pocket pages have been filled in using method A, but I can see where B might make sense for cards that are mostly vertical. However, I don't think I will be changing them now - too much work to take them all out and move them around.

Never really thought about this but..... in my binders I use the "A" alignment for the horizontal cards ( 55 T/B, and 56 T), while I use "B" alignment for the vertical cards ( 53 T/B, 54 T/B).

I like the B format myself. It just seems easier to follow that way.
